License and terms

Your license to use TreadSimple is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These supplemental terms describe safety and service limitations for TreadSimple. If they conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.

TreadSimple Pro subscription

TreadSimple Pro is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. Eligible customers can start one 7-day free trial in the TreadSimple Pro subscription group. Unless canceled before the trial ends, Apple charges the Apple Account for the monthly or annual plan selected at signup. Afterward, the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Users can manage or cancel it in App Store account settings. When paid access expires, unlimited recording and workout-screen customization are locked, but locally stored workout history and exports remain available.

Fitness use only

TreadSimple is a fitness-recording utility, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Heart rate, energy, distance, elevation, speed, incline, and other measurements can be missing, delayed, estimated, or inaccurate. Do not use the app to make medical or emergency decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing an exercise program or making a medical decision.

Exercise and equipment safety

Follow treadmill and sensor manufacturers’ instructions. Secure the phone before exercising, remain aware of the moving belt and surroundings, and use the treadmill’s safety key. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if feeling unwell. TreadSimple records data but does not control treadmill speed or incline and is not an emergency service.

Third-party equipment

TreadSimple does not manufacture, sell, install, inspect, maintain, or repair any treadmill, heart-rate monitor, sensor, phone mount, or other equipment. The user is responsible for checking that equipment is in safe working condition, using it as its manufacturer directs, and deciding whether it is appropriate for the user. App compatibility does not certify or guarantee an equipment product’s safety, condition, accuracy, or regulatory compliance.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for injury, death, property damage, equipment damage, or other loss caused by the condition, defect, maintenance, repair, setup, movement, or misuse of third-party equipment; a manufacturer’s instructions or warnings; or a user’s failure to follow those instructions or warnings. This paragraph does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability, if any, directly caused by the developer’s own conduct.

Integrations and data

The user chooses whether to connect Apple Health or Strava and is responsible for accounts and permissions with those services. Their terms and privacy policies apply to data they receive. An integration can be disconnected at any time. The user is responsible for keeping the iPhone passcode and connected accounts secure.

Availability and compatibility

Bluetooth equipment, Apple Health, Strava, and network services can change or become unavailable. TreadSimple does not guarantee compatibility with every treadmill or sensor, uninterrupted recording or transfer, or that a third-party service will accept an activity. Keep the treadmill console as the primary source during exercise and review important records after syncing.

App warranty and liability

The disclaimers and limitations in Apple’s Standard EULA apply to TreadSimple. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TreadSimple is provided “as is” and “as available,” and the developer does not guarantee that readings, calculations, alerts, recordings, exports, or connections will be accurate, complete, timely, uninterrupted, or error-free. Nothing in these supplemental terms limits a consumer protection or other right that cannot be waived under applicable law. The developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to TreadSimple as provided in the Standard EULA.

Acceptable use and support

Use TreadSimple only lawfully and with equipment and accounts the user is authorized to use. Do not attempt to interfere with the app, its OAuth broker, Strava, Apple Health, or another person’s device or account.

TreadSimple is operated by the developer identified on its App Store listing. Contact support@treadsimple.com for support.
